Materials for a Musical Make and Take:
Each teacher will need:
 Poster board - colored on both sides -22" x 28"
- 7 white
- 4 yellow
- 3 black
- 2 green
Cottonballs - One half bag each of 5 different colors
- pink, blue, green, purple, yellow*
Construction paper 9" x 12"
- 1/2 sheet of blue
- 1/2 pink
- 1/2 yellow
- 1/2 green
- 1/2 purple
- 1/2 black
- 2 full sheets of blue
- 2 full sheets of black
Scissors, crayons/markers, rubber cement, white glue, ruler/yardstick
Optional
- Grommets: 24 - 3/8" grommets for binding books**
- Rings: 5 - 1 1/2" for binding
- We will also need two or three hammers and paper punches for binding
* Wal-Mart, or some drugstores or craft stores have colored cottonballs.
**Grommets are metal hole reinforcers and can be purchased at most hardware stores or the camping department of Wal-Mart. I will bring my grommet tools but you may want to buy two or three grommet kits that include the binding tools to use for future projects.
Fabric stores may have different types of grommets. It is just important to make sure that they will be large enough for the metal rings to fit through.
